Working from her home studio and gallery, Rupert Gallery and Studio, in Hobart Tasmania, Emma has embraced her idyllic country childhood and creative background. Exuberant vases of flowers and branches of quinces fresh from the tree, collected from local markets, friend’s gardens or her parents farm, provide the perfect inspiration for her charming and eye catching botanical and still life paintings. We are gently reminded of the beauty surrounding us, when we take the time to pause and observe.
Emma has had a number of group and solo exhibitions, with her work being held in local, interstate and oversea's private collections. Her fresh painterly style of working continues to evolve as she develops and extends her painting practice.
Recently Emma has made a return to ceramics, with the addition of 'The Little Mud Room' to her home studio, selling her work in local retail outlets and working on commission pieces for private clients.
